I
decided to make sure to take to time to educate my future students on the causes
and impacts of climate change. I feel like the best way to address the issues
of climate change is for people to actually understand what is happening. From
experiences in the classroom, most students usually go back and teach their
parents what they learned in class that day. So logically, to me, the fastest
way to educate and spread knowledge is through today’s youth.

In order to do this, I plan on implementing a unit
lesson, at the 6th grade level, surrounding all aspects of climate
change. This unit should take about a week long.
