At the end of this WebQuest, your task will be to learn the differences between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures. You will be placed into three groups where your task will be to research on the internet and create a presentation in the form of a chart, PowerPoint, song, poem, or a role-play to teach the class about the types of heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures with the inclusion of at least five (5) relatable examples. Team #1 will learn about mixtures as solutions. Team #2 will learn about mixtures as suspension. Team #3 will learn about mixtures as colloids. Each team will be given 30 minutes to research their individual sub-topic in order for a successful completion of the presentation. You will also be given 10 minutes to execute your presentation to the class in their respective groups. While this is being done, the other students will listen attentively and make their own notes in an undisturbed manner. Students are allowed to use the sites below for additional help.
