Taking on the Tundra

Using the internet, we need to answer questions about the Tundra, so that we are prepared for what we are going to face in this hostile enviorment. We will need to know the animals and the dangers that they posess, we need to see what the weather could have in store for us, we will need to make sure we have the proper necessities and most importantly we need to create a map that shows us the quickest route to our scientists. We also need to determine the proper clothing and other necessities as well as what transportation we will use to get there. One huge problem exists, a car will work but only to the Alberta territory because all of the roads to the east of this territory are snow covered. There are heavy storms throughout the Tundra and flying has also become a concern. Once we pass the Alberta territory we will need to brainstorm a way of reaching the scientists! So there are four important tasks for our group. Let's get started already, they are waiting for us!

 Rescuer Tasks

 1. Get in to groups of 3 or 4 rescurers

 2. Create a map of our expedition.

 3. Answer questions that will help us on our journey.

 4. Write down the necessities for our trip.
