Exploring the Depths of the Ocean

Students will follow steps and learn about the different zones of the ocean through interactive internet sites. They will gather this information and then come together in small groups to make a creative, detailed poster of the different zones of the ocean. Each poster will describe and/or show the differences between the zones. They will have pictures of the different sea life in each zone as well as the name and depth of the zone. They will be able to describe how light only goes to a certain depth and how that affects the type of life that lives in each zone.
