Maps WebQuest

Through exploring the world with maps, by the end of completing your assignments you should be able to use maps to analyze geographic locations. You will be able to point out basic map elements and label the continents and oceans. You will also be able to label a map with essential elements such as a compass rose, scale, title and key. To start you will be exploring the links on the Process page. After clicking through them and making yourself familiar with what is provided you will complete the assignments that go along with each link. Once you have completed all assignments for each link you will print out a blank map that is linked on the Process page. You will label the continents and oceans on your own, not using any of the links that you searched for practice. If you get stuck after labeling at least 2 oceans and 3 continents you can find an exploration partner for help. 

The goal by the end of this WebQuest is that you have clicked on all of the links and completed the corresponding tasks. You should have gone back to any of the websites provided and reviewed them if you needed to. You will have labeled the blank world map provided listing all of the oceans and continents.
