3Q: World Belief Systems
Task
Many people fear those who are different from themselves.
One of the biggest differences that can bring fear is a difference in belief systems.
As a way to help erase ignorance, and thus possibly erase some fears, you will learn about the World's five major belief systems as well as some lesser known belief systems.
Your final product will be TWO detailed charts of the origins, teachings, sacred texts, and fundamental beliefs for these belief systems. The charts will include written explanations about your understanding of these beliefs.
By creating these charts you will have a better understanding of the similarities and differences of these systems, as well as the origin and major beliefs of each.
