20121011041851jybyq.jpg

Welcome tothe Babel in Genoa competition, a treasure hunt aimed at rebuilding the Babel Tower by putting together the pieces  that have been scattered when the Tower collapsed.

You will get all the missing pieces by following the instructions provided in the PROCESS page: each of the ten steps you will have to take are meant get your group closer and closer  to the final aim: victory!

Make sure your group works  strictly cooperates in order to find the solution of the problems  you will be asked to face. At the end of each phase of the hunt, if you have managed  to make head and tail of the problem at hand, you’ll lay hands on a letter of the alphabet: each of these letters is part of an acronym you have to put together. Depending on the time you take in solving each problem, you will be assigned credits that will be added up step after step, building up the final  treasure you need to rebuild the Tower.

Last but not least: ow can you possibly rebuild the Tower, once you have got hold of the missing pieces? What kind of glue do you need to stick them together?  The answer lays  in a magic 10 letters word and you shouldn’t look very far away to find it......

As soon as you have the answer, you will be facing your  final deeds: the Babel of scattered, unintelligible languages will have to be arranged, making sense out of nonsense.  Each component of the group will have to learn a tongue-twister in one of the Babel languages (Dutch,Italian, French, German, Spanish and why not? even  the Genoese dialect) and tell it in front of the groups: the last credits will depend on each group component ‘s mastery of a  tongue-twisting in a foreign language. Tongue-twisting  acting will be evaluated by the tutor teachers on the basis of the following criteria:

·        Pronunciation : from 0 to10 credits

·        Intonation: from 0 to10 credits

·        Personal  interpretation: from 0 to10 credits
