Polynomials and Rational Functions

Task

Task 1:

  • Find the meaning of the different terminologies that fall under the category of Polynomials.
  • Learn the different terms and degrees of a Polynomial.
  • Learn how to solve or evaluate Polynomials.

Task 2:

  1. Learn the basic operations involving Polynomials.
  2. To add, subtract, multiply, and divide two Polynomials and more through the knowledge gained in first task of Task 2.

Task 3:

  • Learn and understand the alternative method, the Sythetic Division.
  • To use Sythetic division, as a replacement of long division process/
  • Know and understand the use Remainder Theorem.
  • To solve and apply the knowledge of Remainder Theorem.

Task 4:

  • Learn and understand Rational Functions
  • To solve using Rational Functions.

 

Special Tasks:

1. Answer the attachments (EXAMS) found at the end of the Process webpage, include the solutions together with your answer.
Print the Special Task 1, the format would be in Letter size, Verdana 13, bold.

2. Create a powerpoint persentation on the steps on how to solve the different operations in Poynomials such as:

  • Addition
  • Subtraction
  • Multiplication
  • Division

Each category will be given at least three (3) examples together with the solutions.
The format for the presentation will be Arial 24, minimum of 50 slides.
This will be send through the instructor's email:

A confirmation letter will be send afterwards if the instructor has received it.

3. Play the Game (. . .) found at the end of the Process webpage.
Print the game while playing it and attach it together with Special Task 1, at the last page.
Don't forget to leave a comment at the end of the print screen of the game. 3 paragraphs only, the format will be Arial 13, Italized, aligned at the left.
