Group A

4. Read the four articles that argue that men and women are not so different as it is usually assumed. What are the arguments against the popular belief? What similarities do they mention?

2. Visit the website Women’s Rights: a Journey Around the World and read about women's rights issues in several countries around the world. Find out how women are treated in five different religions and read about the lives of some important women around the world and throughout history. 

3. Discuss the following questions:

            - What has the Women's Rights Movement achieved?

            - Are men and women equal today?

            - Why are there more men than women in important positions?

            - Are there more battles to be fought?

Group C

1. Visit the website Women in the Ancient World and read about the status, role and daily life of women in the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Rome, Athens, Israel and Babylonia. What were the status and the role of women in these areas and what was their life like?

2. Read the following texts about the social roles of men and women. What were the traditional roles of men and women in the past? How have they changed? What are the roles of men and women in modern societies?

          - Darwin and the Roles of Men and Women

3. Visit the following websites and read about famous women of past and present. What areas have they been succesful in? How have they achieved their excellence? Are there any areas they still haven't conquered?

After you have done all the reading, in your groups analyze all the information you have found, decide what information you are going to use for the wiki, how you are going to organize it and how you are going to present it in order to make it attractive and interesting for the audience. You can include pictures and illustrations to make the wiki more appealing.

Two members of each group should get together and discuss the overall layout and organization of the wiki. You will have two weeks to finish the project, so plan your activities in order to complete it on time.
