Happily Ever After?

Step One: 

You will be paired up with another classmate and you will brainstorm some of your favorite fairy tales. (Cinderella, Aladdin, Jack and the Bean Stalk, etc.) Make a list of all fairy tales you can think of and write a brief sentence about the main thing that happened. You will pick one fairy tale that is your favorite and decide what you are going to change. You are able to give them a happily ever after but decide what happens after the wedding. You can just take away the happy all together. This is your time to really brainstorm about how whats going to change.

Step Two:

Now that you have reached step two, you know exactly how your story is going to play out. This is the time to start your rough draft. You will start the story off with the famous "Once Upon A Time" and from there is all up to you. Keep the names of the important characters but feel free to add any, you could even get rid of some. Your final draft will be typed out and double spaced. 

Step Three: 

You made your fairy tales not so happy congratulations! Here is where is time to take a moment in your life you thought was happy and change to outcome. You are going to write your own fairy tale and change it. This can be anything you want, there are no limits but try to keep it PG. I am excited to see what everyone comes up with.
