The teacher will first provide definitions of the major concepts and processes associated with the water cycle.
 
The teacher will have created six stations labeled: clouds, oceans, rivers, soil, animals and  plants. At each station a die will be labeled with the names of the processes of the stations as well as a box with crayons which specific colours representing each process.

1. In six groups students stuydents will be placed at each station and given a sheet of paper.

2. Each students will roll the die, if it lands on clouds they will use a black crayon to shade the space on the paper then move to the cloud station if they are located at another station or stay at the clouds station if that was their original base.

3. Each time the die is rolled the students will shade  the space on the paper on move around the stations

4. the students will do this until the teacher tells them to stop playing and return to their seats.

5. after shading the spaces on the page the students will describe the different processes associated with the stations that they visited by telling how water journeyed through clouds, oceans, rivers, soil, animals and plants. students will complete this activity in the form of an essay.
