Jeopardy - Ancient Greece

To complete this important, professional tasks, you must follow these steps thoroughly:

  1. Gather with your team members and look over all of the tasks and duties assigned in this webquest.
  2. Decide as a group which type of product you will complete.  If you will do a computer gameboard, you must download the template to your work computer.  It can ONLY be saved to one computer, so all questions must be recorded in your notebook until you are ready to input them. If you plan to complete a poster gameboard, discuss responsibilities for getting the supplies and plan time to complete the board as a team.
  3. Discuss the topics that you can choose from and decide the 4 main topics you will cover as your jeopardy categories. Each member of the group MUST work on at least one category.
  4. View the general information links to get a better understanding of the Ancient Greeks.
  5. Begin your research on your chosen topic.  Link to the sites provided, and read the information on your topic.  View any pictures, reading their captions, and look at any charts or other information provided.
  6. Discuss with your team what information would be most important to include.  Be sure to include at least one question in each category that addresses their contributions to modern society.
  7. Take down your gathered research into your notes.  Focus on key points that are relevant to your topic and important to understanding the Ancient Greeks. 
  8. Begin writing your information into question and answer form.  Create questions that are clear, concise, and grammatically correct.  Check your spelling.
  9. Transfer your information to your gameboard (to template or on posterboard).
  10. Check your completed gameboard product to make sure everything is complete and correct as assigned.
  11. Begin work on individual task of writing a letter to the Jeopardy producers to accept your questions and answers for the next kids or teen tournements.  You must follow the attached rubric for the writing
