2.- Choose the two theories that you found most interesting  and do further research on them.

If you have or can find a copy of 
Ellis, R. (1985). Understanding second language acquisition. Oxford: Oxford University Press, then read chapter 10 (pp. 248-282).

You should also use different reliable, academic sources  to enhance your research.
You may want to look at the following links:

Write a summary of the main points of the two theories you have chosen. Make sure you paraphrase whenever possible and always reference the academic works you use. Post this summary in the link provided on the platform. Make sure you include a title that includes your name and the name of the second language theories you chose.


e-task 2

You will write an essay in the next step. To help you do this you should identify the similarities and  differences between the two theories that you have chosen.

2.-Download the comparison chart that you find on the platform and fill it in. You do not need to hand this in; it will help you to organize your ideas.



e-task 3

Now write a contrastive essay comparing the two theories that you have seen. There are many good websites that explain the process for writing a comparative essay.

2.- Make sure you read the rubric before you hand in the essay so that you know how you will be graded.

3.- Upload your essay to the link provided on the platform as a Word document. Use the name "Contrastive_Essay.docx".
