EOL: Understanding the Process
Class, below there are three questions please choice one and discussed it by posting your response here (note you do not have the ability to respond to your colleagues post). By completing the online study you should have a broader worldview of the topic, some of the politics and policies and ethical issues surrounding palliative and EoL care process.
- Discuss your thoughts on EOL, pain management and your role throughout this process.
- Discuss what patients and family need to do so that their wishes are carried out in the EOL.
- What do you know or understand about end of life care vs. palliative care, give an example and with a brief summation of how you would treat these two concepts as one or as two different care process.
