Easter is a holiday filled with both religious significance and secular tradition. Many people go to church on Easter Sunday. Also, children everywhere wake to find the reats and presents left by the Easter Bunny.

In this lesson, you will select a partner, then review information on the Web the relates to both the religious history of Easter as well as the secular history. You will be asked to study the Christian meaning of the holiday and to explore the origins of both the Easter Bunny and the Easter Egg.

After your research, your assignment is to create an interesting Power Point or Windows Movie Maker presentation to share with the rest of the class the reports on what you have discovered and learned.
