Introduction
We live in the Center of Washington State. A major river flows through the center of our valley, and highways easily connect us to major port cities, Seattle and Spokane. Canada is only a few hours drive to the North and Oregon is only a few hours to the South. We live in the Wenatchee Valley, Apple Capital of the World!
But what do we know about where we live? In this WebQuest you will learn about Apple Production, the Geography of Washington State, and transport systems that keep our local economy running.
Also, you will be exposed to startling information about how Canada could have been right across the Columbia River!
