The Pilgrims' Voyage

  Have you ever wished that you were a Pilgrim?  Soon you will find out what it was like to take that long trip from England and start a new life in an unfamiliar place. 

  For this assignment, you are a historian.  Each one of you will research the voyage that the Pilgrims took in order to find the New World.  It will be important to understand the hardships and the conditions that they endured.   Your goal as the historian is to compare the Pilgrims' voyage to modern-day travel.  You will work in groups to design an updated Mayflower.  Each one of you will also write your own journal entry depicting the "experiences" you had while traveling to America. 

  I hope that through this Webquest, you will all begin to understand the great lengths that were taken to ensure that we have the freedom that we have today.
