Fractions - Add/subtract with Same/Related Denominators (ACMNA126)

This unit is planned over 5 x 40 minute lessons. (Due to the need to access computers, and then put away again, it would be beneficial to use double lessons where possible to maximize learning time.) 

The first lesson involves some pre-tests. These are sourced from the IXL website. There is also an equivalent fractions refresher if you need it.

Lessons 2, 3, and 4 will involve videos to explain the addition/subtraction of fractions along with various online activities, and some activities that will involve hands-on use of blocks and fraction walls for a more thorough understanding.

Lesson 5 will involve 3 types of various quizzes, one sourced from Scootle, another set sourced from IXL, and finally a quiz sourced from Kahoot.
