In today's world, business etiquette and business culture of various countries directly correlate with the international relationships that Canada has with these nations. The fundamental economic problem that there are a limited number of resources in the world needed to fulfill an unlimited number of needs creates the problem of scarcity. Scarcity among countries results in the each nation depending upon each other in order to sustain itself. As a result, countries specialize in producing goods and services in which they have an absolute or comparative advantage in and then buy the rest of the needed resources from other nations. An example to reinforce this claims the astonishing 75% (approximate) of all Canadian exports that the United States received last year . Furthermore, each nation values their relationships with international nations. However, without being aware and cognizant of the business culture and etiquette present in these nations, the number of opportunities present reduces. Therefore it is important for each country to cater their business to the trading partners in order to create, strengthen and solidify their international relationship. This Webquest will act as a steppingstone in educating individuals about the Canadian business culture and Etiquette and how it differs from other international powerhouses (i.e. Japan)
