Symbols of the USA

A symbol is an object that stands for or represents something. We are going to learn about national symbols that are unique to our country, such as the American Flag, the Bald Eagle, and the Statue of Liberty. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to learn about all of the symbols listed on the following pages and become familiar with their meaning and use.
