Shark Pool Place Value for first
Evaluation
Did you save the surfer? In order to test your knowledge on place value, you will need to create a worksheet for your neighbor. Number a blank piece of paper from 1-4. For each problem, write a number between 10 and 50. For example:
1. 24
2. 43
3. 38
4. 17
Once you have created your worksheet, exchange it with a partner's. You and your partner will then draw base 10 blocks (using tens and ones) that accurately portray the number you have generated. Once you and your partner have completed the worksheet, exchange them again and check each other's work. If there is one that is incorrect, tell your partner, and allow them to change their answer. Check it again, and then grade the worksheets based on the rubric below.
