Welcome detectives! Now, that you have gathered information about each  type of malicious code, you are now able to begin creating profiles for each. First, you will click on the url in the resource area and click on open. After you do that, you will see that your file opens up in windows journal.(software for a tablet pc). Once you are in windows journal, complete the flow charts for each type of malicious code.

In your flow charts, use your stylus to write descriptions about each type of malicious code. For each circle in your flow chart write details about the malicious code that is written in the center. Be specific with your details. When writing your details focus on answering the following questions:

What is it? Why is it dangerous? How does it destroy things? How do you get it on your computer? When does it start destroying files? How is the code destroyed or prevented?

Once you have completed your flow charts, print them out. You will use your details to complete your profiles.

Now, that you have completed your flow charts, you will create your profiles. You will click on the link below and see a character scrapbook. What you will do is you will create a profile for each type of malicious code. Pretend that each type of malicious code  is a character in a story. What would they look like? Create your character then complete two pages of the scrapbook.(You may do more than two pages, but you must complete two) For each page, you must list 5-10 things that are listed on the page.
