Elements of Word Structure

This rubric will be used by your teacher to evaluate your group presentation and give your group an assigned mark.

Oral Presentation and Preparedness	Students do not speak clearly, do not stay on topic, provide poor examples and are not prepared. Content	Do not seem to understand the topic very well.	Include essential information about the topic, but there are 1-2 factual errors.	Include essential knowledge about the topic. Subject knowledge appears to be good.	Cover topic in-depth with details and examples. Subject knowledge is excellent.
Originality	Use other people's ideas, but do not give them credit.	Use other people's ideas (giving them credit), but there is little evidence of original thinking.	Show some original thought. Show new ideas and insights	Show a large amount of original thought. Ideas are creative and inventive.
Answer Questions	Students are unable to accurately answer questions posed by classmates about the topic.	Students are able to accurately answer a few questions posed by classmates about the topic.	Students are able to accurately answer most questions posed by classmates about the topic.	Students are able to accurately answer almost all questions posed by classmates about the topic
