Earth's Seven Continents and Five Oceans

Conclusion

You all did a great job today!

We learned that around 200 million years ago, a giant landmass known as a supercontinent, or Pangaea, began to break apart on our planet Earth. This once giant landmass broke apart and formed seven different large areas of land. These seven large areas of land are known as continents. There are five large bodies of water on our planet Earth that are all connected to each other. We call each of these areas of water oceans.
