A gerund is a verb ending in –ing that is used as a noun, either as a subject, object or complement while an infinitive is a verb preceded by “to” that is used as a subject, object or complement of a sentence. The students usually get confused with these two grammar. Therefore, the teacher must provide the aids to help them understand the context and principles of Gerund and Infinitive. After students have shown that they can identify the gerund, infinitive have them summarize their own thought about Gerund and Infinitive. The teacher must give the feed back to the students so they can improve and fix their weak point
