Well, did you find the story of Gonzalo interesting? How does Gonzalo's experiences learning English make you feel about your English-learning experiences? Do they motivate you to want to learn the language as quickly as he did? You have learned that at first, it is difficult to adapt to a different country when you don't know their language. However, with hard work and dedication, it is possible to adjust and learn a new language.
Through exercises 1 through 5, you learned about a) the author of the story, b) family's experiences in Cleveland Ohio and character traits, c) getting directions through Google Maps, d) the story's sequence of events, and e) expressing your thoughts through a reflective journal.
