Welcome: Instruments of the Orchestra
Description: This WebQuest will introduce students to orchestral instruments. Students will discover the different families of orchestral instruments, which instruments belong to which families, how the orchestra is set up, what each instrument looks like and sounds like, how to describe different instruments, and what kind of music orchestras play. Students will then create an imaginary orchestra, for which they will make a flyer to hang in the classroom that includes instruments sorted by instrument family, how the orchestra is set up, and 5 songs that the orchestra could play.
