Welcome: Our Friend, The Honeybee!
Description: The domestic honeybee is very important to our food supply. The colony is made up of a queen, workers and drones. Each has very specific and important jobs to do for the survival of the hive and for the abundance of our food supply. Over the next 2 or more weeks, you and your group will investigate the jobs of each of the castes (types) and determine how they are important to agriculture.
