Welcome: Designing a Film Poster: Using Children's Stories to Understand Theme
Description: This webquest will allow students to explore the concept of theme by researching the differences between the literary terms theme, motif, and moral. Students will create a Prezi providing definitions and at least five examples of each of the aforementioned three terms. Then, students will complete a handout on which they identify the theme, motif, and moral of given popular children's stories. Finally, students will choose a well-known children's story from an approved list of works, identify its theme, and create a poster that illustrates the development of the story's theme.
