Description: This PowerPoint presentation is primarily produced for students preparing for the Caribbean Examinations Council’s (CXC) Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Principles of Accounts examination. In this PowerPoint students will be introduced to the topic “Accounting as a Profession”, in an effort to equip them with the necessary knowledge for the world of work in the field of accounting, therefore, the following objectives will be covered in this PowerPoint presentation: Define the term Career, recall the definition for bookkeeping and accounting, identify three duties and responsibilities of a bookkeeper and an accountant and, describe at least three specialized and emerging careers in accounting.
