Macromolecules WebQuest SB1c
Welcome
Welcome: Macromolecules WebQuest SB1c
Description:
This WebQuest will provide resources to study the four different bio-molecules/macro-molecules: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. <br />
Students will be able to obtain an understanding of the relationships between macro-molecules structure and function within cells. The WebQuest focus on reviewing and collecting evidence and explaining content in written format. <br />
<h1>Standard SB1c <br /></h1>
<i>Construct arguments supported by evidence to relate the structure of macro-molecules
(carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids) to their interactions in carrying out
cellular processes. <br />
(Clarification statement: The function of proteins as enzymes is limited to a conceptual
understanding.)</i>
<br />
<h1>Learning Targets:<br /></h1>
-I can classify the major biological macro-molecules based on their monomer type. <br />
-I can identify the function of the major macro-molecules , and discuss how the molecules monomer/shape allows it to perform the necessary function in cells.
