This WebQuest was designed to be used after reading "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park. It tells the story of Salva Dut a young boy who is forced to flee his home because of war. This WebQuest was designed to help students understand more about investing, particularly in the stock market. Students will learn about stocks and bonds and how to read charts. They will also learn about diversity and its importance in an investment portfolio. Students will also come to understand the reasons for investing. ASSUMPTIONS: Students have read A Long Walk to Water. Students are familiar with creating a Prezi and have used a spreadsheet.
