Welcome: Divided as a Nation
Description: Welcome to the Civil War! This is an 11th grade Social Studies lesson that compliments a unit on the Civil War. In this lesson you will be asked to read texts, understand what happened in the Civil War, and what were the long term effects on this nation. After you have read articles and watched supplementary videos you will write an argumentative piece on why the north prevailed and the impacts it had on our nation.
