Description: Hello! During this Webquest, you will learn about how Native Americans were affected by European exploration. To do this, you will read a diary entry from a well known explorer who is known for "discovering" the New World: Christopher Columbus. You will also watch a video about Columbus. Then, you will read an article about Native Americans. This article will focus on how they were affected during this time period. At the end of this Webquest, you will write your own diary entry from the perspective of a Native American. As you go through this Webquest consider this question: Is there more than one side to history?
