Description: Did you know animals fall in different groupings based off what they eat? In this lesson, we will look at animals that fall in the Carnivores, Herbivores, and Omnivores categories. We will learn about animals that eat only plants, those that eat only meat, and those that eat both plants and meat. Animals that eat only plants are known as herbivores, and animals that eat only meat are known as carnivores. When animals eat both plants and meat, they are called omnivores. Ecosystems depend on the presence of all types of eaters.
