Description: This web quest will give students an opportunity to solve real world problems that involves measurement, using their mathematical skills. Each group will at the end of the course complete a model of the table with accurate measurements applying Pythagoras Theorem as a skill in completing their project accurately. Many persons are aware of the fact that Pythagoras has something to do with measurement and nothing else. There are also other areas that are overlooked such as mobile telephones, air travel also uses the principles of Pythagoras theorem and satellite navigator. Once you become knowledgeable of the principle, things such as measuring triangles. The main objective of this Quest is to understand Pythagoras and its relationship between the sides of the right-angled triangle.
