Description: Who doesn't like to have fun? And what better way to have fun than to scare yourself at a thrilling amusement park with a copious amount of things to do? There isn't one. Amusement parks are fun places filled with countless rides, shows, refreshments and etc. Most people don't realize, however, that amusement parks incorporate many different basic shapes from geometry in their design. Geometric figures are prevalent in there designs; shapes such as circles, ovals, triangles, squares, rectangles and more are used to construct them. It is my goal to ensure that students in high school are able to understand important concepts in geometry and master these lessons in a fun way. Skills such as arc measures/length, transformations, and everything about triangles and other shapes.
