Welcome: 4th Grade Social Studies - The Pacific Northwest Unit
Description: During this project, students will proactively learn about the Pacific Northwest. They will discover (hands on) many important aspects of the region through research and design. The class will create a newspaper or news letter about the Pacific Northwest. They will follow Washington State criteria and key words to develop empathy and perspective on Native Americans and other central themes on the topic. The picture above is an example of a newsletter.
