Central Park Zoo

Welcome: Central Park Zoo
Description: Students will take a field trip to the central park zoo to see animals in their "natural" habitat. They will pick an animal of choice and learn as much as they can about that animal. What is their classification as an herbivore, omnivore, carnivore? What are their preditors and/or prey? They will then create a shoe box habitat that dipicts what they've learned of their animal's environment then write a 1 page paper discussing what they've learned.
