We will try to have a complete but a brief analysis of rise and fall of greatest hero created by Christopher Marlowe and will see how the lust for knowledge leads Dr. Faustus towards the lust for power, wealth and beauty.This very lust directs him towards his tragic downfall as he pledges his soul to Lucifer in return of 24 years lascivious life to fulfill all kinds of his desires and lust in any way as he may like.
