Welcome: Let's Vote for the 8th Wonder of the World!
Description: This webquest was designed for the freshman year students who are enrolled in a writing class offered by the English Language Teaching Department at Yeditepe University during the first semester of 2008-2009 academic year. The aim is to encourage students to read on the wonders of the ancient world in order to familiarize them with the rhetorics of descriptive writing so they can complete a follow-up writing task.
