Introduction:
This lesson was designed as part of our requirements in Education Technology2, which is part of the Bachelor in Secondary Education program at University of Santo Tomas.

This Web Quest is designed to teach students about the different structures and functions of the cell as well as learning through application of the subject matter to daily living.

Learners:
This Web Quest is designed to be used in Biology subjects of High School students. It teaches the students about the structure and function of the cell. It also allows students to work on their group and develop creativity.

Standards:
Considering the year level of the students, it is important to be sure the students have an understanding and background knowledge of what the cells are before completing this Web Quest.

Resources:
In order to complete the Web Quest you will need:

• Computers with internet access (one for each group)
• Paper and pencils (to record findings)
• Drawing and art materials (for the blue print and 3D model of the cell city)
