So You Think You Can Dance? But What Does It Mean?

This WebQuest is all about Inquiry-Led learning based around web-based learning that focuses on dance and the meaning behind it. This project would probably take two or three days to complete if there was about an hour for the students to work on it each day. Make sure the groups are even and no one is left out. Make sure the students understand that they have to figure out what the dance moves mean and they have to figure out where to find that information. All groups should have access to at least one computer, however having two would make it easier. Understand that they may all not have access to the internet outside of school, but they can think about the dance moves they are trying to understand the meaning of outside of school, which is more of the assignment. 

Standards

State Standard: 5.D.R2.A Interpret meaning in a dance based on its movements. Explain how the movements communicate the main idea of the dance using basic dance terminology.
