Teachers!!!

How many times do you have a great lesson for the students but it is so difficult to get them engaged?
How many times you are delivering a lesson and you wish your students could take charge of the lesson, be creative and 'think outside the box'?

Well, this web quest is designed to get students more involved in the teaching/learning process. We want our students to be independent of us and to expand on that innovative spirit that is wrapped within. As such, this web quest allows for hands-on and collaborative approach, whereby our students can read a simple document and create games, write reports or even graphs. So it is not for our students to read and comprehend but to extend themselves using their knowledge. Assessment and instruction do not have to be written in books anymore, but can be done using computers, where students' interests lie.

I do hope you find it useful and engaging.

Note to teachers:  Several links in this web quest will require you to guide the students along the way. Even though, we are targeting the 21st century                                    learning, which emphasizes student independence, there will be much needed guidance for the students, who may be new to some                                    of the applications. Therefore, this web quest may be completed within several classes and sessions.
