It is important to pull from various resources: Images, videos, and articles provide a plenitude of information.
These tools can be spread out. It works best to start with the easier part of the lesson and then introduce the more complicated subjects.
As I have done here, we begin with the welcome page. "We are humans, we know that chickens exist."
Then we lead into the topic of interest: "What makes up a chicken? Where did they come from?"
We then learn something broad: "How did they spread so far and wide?"
The next topic narrows the subject once more: "What makes a chicken domestic and what makes it wild?"
And the final article pinpoints to a specific fact: "What animals lead to the formation of the chicken's anatomy?"

All of these articles contain portions of the theme: How we once had wild chickens and how we have come to tame them.
