ENC1101 Author Study

This webquest was designed for Dual Enrollment English students in Polk County, Florida to meet state and common core curriculum standards.

It was designed for a 20 student class with three days in the computer lab for preparation and one day for presentations in class.

The following Florida State Standards were referenced in the lesson:

Reading:  Strand 1: Grade 11/12 :  Compare and Contrast the illustration of the same theme in two different literary genres, using their structural features as the basis for the comparison (in this case biography and short stories)

Listening/Speaking: Standard 3: Proficiency (Grade 9-12): LS-PS: Deliver oral interpretations of literary or original works
