Greatest Empires

Teacher Page

This webquest is designed as a student as teacher activity to allow the students to be involved in the lesson and present the information to their peers.  The students will have a week to work on their museum with their group; however, if they need more time, that is fine, the longest it should take is two weeks.  Then on Monday and Tuesday the following week they will present to the class, of Thursday and Friday, depending on how long it took for them to finish.  Each group should take about ten minutes (two fifty minute periods).  After the students have presented their Empire to the class, Wednesday or the following Monday will be spent touching a little more on the Empires and what was left out of the museums, you do not want to spend too much time on this part, considering the students should have done a good job going into depth about their Empires.  However, as teachers be sure to have something else planned just in case this does not take as long as it is supposed to, or if some groups finish before others; perhaps have some fun activities that have to do with the individual group's Empire.
