An Introduction to the Civil War

This webquest is really to give an overview of the Civil War. It highlights important aspects of the Civil War up to its conclusion. I do not know how long this webquest will take because it is my first time creating it and it is for a class.

Standards

West Virginia Common Core Standards met are for content in the 10th grade:
SS.10.H.CL4.1, SS.10.H.CL4.2, SS.10.H.CL4.3, and SS.10.H.CL4.4 which all deal with content in U.S. History and the Civil War obviously. Literacy standards are also met such as SS.9-10.L.11, SS.9-10.L.12, SS.9-10.L.13, and SS.9-10.L.15.

Credits

The Assignments I got were from "Teaching Reading in the Content Areas: If not me, then who?" by Rachel Billmeyer and Mary Lee Barton. The sites listed on the student page are the only sites used for this webquest.
