Did Henry VIII Find True Love?

TARGET LEARNERS: This webquest has been created for a group of EFL students in Spain. They are 16-17 years old. Their level of English is B1 (CEFR).

FOCUS: This webquest focuses on why Henry VIII married six times and why he got rid of some of his wives in such dramatic ways. It is an attemp to understand the man behind the character.

OBJECTIVES/GOALS: 1 Gather and sort out information from different sources. 2 Summarize and reach agreement. 3 Transform knowlegde. 4 Use internet tools appropiately. 5. Try and be creative using the knowledge acquired.

TIMING: One week

PRESEQUISITE SKILLS: Students should already be familiar with historical facts about the Tudors. Also, previous experience using the Internet is required.

CREDITS: The Youtube videos The Six Wives of Henry VIII had already been used in the webquest Henry VIII also available in zunal. I would like to express how grateful I am for such inspiration.
