Joyas Arquitectónicas del Camino Francés

 

This was a project that my advanced Spanish class undertook at the end of a semester in which we concentrated on Medieval Spanish History and Literature.  I found that assigning this task to students was particularly challenging due to the complexity and lack of familiarity with the topic, although we had spent quite a bit of time discussing and reading about it during the semester. After each group developed its project their classmates were asked to carry out the others' webquests as part of their final exam.

 

 

    Assigning a WebQuest to students can be very positive, although quite challenging. This is the first time I tried it in class and I plan to do it again next semester.   It is an excellent  resource for pulling complex ideas into a workable context.  It is time consuming, but useful if done well.
